project leader: ISA e Mario Sorbo

Why do women and men interchange clothes? The past decades illustrate the moments in which man becomes woman and woman becomes man… a project that talks of the cross-over between sexes, the point at which both meet each other, bringing them the same aesthetics, the same look, the same style. A world between masculine and feminine. A world between black and white.

  Waking up in Another World
  project leader: Roberto Buratti

Fantasy, fiction and the world of dreams. My project creates a unique fantasy world through materials, prints, Design and photography. A place where a small doll wanders and materials turn into landscape, a magnification of details and new discoveries.

  Intuition
  project leader: Roberto Buratti

My work essentially explores that quaint sense we call 'human intuition'. My research took me to Bolzano - South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, where I delved into archaeological textiles. I’ve found out a fascinating display of what human instincts are able to do. I examined 5000 year-old techniques of putting together random patches of available materials in order to give them a semblance of what we today call a 'garment'. This impulsive way of making garments is one of the underpinnings of my technique.

Through the garment my project intends to unify the body language, with the cinematographic language. The garment has always played an important role in the history of cinema, a way to communicate emotions.
My proposal comes from the radicalisation of this concept: the garment becomes the narrative core of the movie, its transformation becomes the scenography.

  Look inside
project leader: Coccinelle e Daniela Puppa

I have started analysing the contemporary production of jewels, then I have concentrated on a research on reliquaries used in different cultures. The reliquary can be a charming object for the body decoration, protection from negative aspects of life, or simply a small container for perfumes or tobacco. Look Inside is a jewel-container created as a metaphor of the need of looking inside our-selves, listening to our dreams and our fears, keeping them inside.

  Deadly Game
  project leader: Stefano Guerriero

A tale of deceit lies and murder. Three diverse female characters. The Cluedo murder mystery. Recreating new identities for each woman. I’ve taken small elements from their original role both in the game and film Clue.
Miss Scarlet: Seductive, Japanese, graphic. Mrs White: French maid, tailored, tarty. Mrs Peacock: sophistication, glamour, decoration. The colour palette: black, grey, white and cream. There are highlight colours taken from each woman’s name.

The game is here interpreted as an idea of decontextualisation and destabilisation. This is the basis of my project which moves from already existing realities of shops, in which you live a “different experience”, towards operations aimed at an innovation of the displaying method. A project allied of the game in order to make the gym of shopping challenging and entertaining.

The future is made up from our past. We can only take from what we already know in order to project the future. Through our imagination, experiences and dreams we are able to shape the future. Anything and everything is possible. We are the future.

  Nokia No limits
project leader: Nokia e Future Concept Lab

So as Prada is no longer “just” an accessories brand but a must of modern fashion, Nokia is more than "just" a mobile phone producer. Nokia has the potential to extend its identity... to become a statement of fashion. Nokia becomes a medium through which people can extend their own identity. It takes form through a graphic medium that has the potential of being understood by the masses.

Inspired by Christopher Nolan film Memento, loss of memory has been translated to Loss of Detail. From complete memories to fragmented recollections, minimal detail elements derive from excessive detailing.

Seeking for new possibilities in the accessories field, I kept on analysing fibers, fabrics, textures, colors and patterns and I looked for new functions and fastening methods.
In order to streghten the brand identity, I’ve focused on new ideas and strategies so that the customer could easily make his choice.

  Invisible Cities
project leader: Coccinelle e Daniela Puppa

The Reinterpretation of subjects (objects) through the reallocation of purpose, function and meaning. This is demonstrated through the design of a mens collection for the company of Coccinelle which explores the boundaries apparent between Jacket, Pocket and Bag. The analogy of Reinterpretation is drawn from Italo Calvino’s “Invisible Cities” which is the tale of many cities which are all in fact the reinterpretation of the same city, the city of Venice.

  AUT 24/7
project leader: ISA e Mario Sorbo

Authenthic - 24 hours - 7 days. Hush and take time. A time to access what you are and what you aren´t, what is real and what is superficial. A moment to take stock of your existence. AUT 24/7 is a pause, a time for questioning. Not saying anything, not meaning anything, but making a statement. Your statement. It´s a way to give up superfluous, to keep the essential and treasure it. 24 hours, 7 days yearning for the real thing, something that will satisfy you now and in moments to come. It´s not boring but timeless, not clueless but clever. It´s simple but elegant. It´s a meeting with an object.

  Commerce vs. Creativity:
an Analysis of Street and Industry
Fashion in New York and Milan
  project leader: Future Concept Lab

"Everything in fashion begins in the street” (D. Von Furstenberg). After a careful analysis of both the fashion systems of New York and Milan, I chose to highlight the growing fashion underground scene that is currently taking place in Williamsburg Brooklyn. I illustrated my work through a children’s book about a girl living in this neighborhood. She goes shopping for a night out at Luxx, a popular club in the Brooklyn Electroclash scene.
