Different actors in the international Information Technology world are investigating the possibility to envision and design a new working-style inspired by the emergent qualities of social infrastructures like the internet, by the growth of new media formats and interfaces and by the development of high-performance and miniaturized components and technologies. Relational scenarios based on emerging cultural behaviours and trends, media/tool visions based on the potentiality of net technologies, service experiences based on emerging interaction models and brand strategies based on unexpected partnership and alliances, are only some example of the potential directions that the Master projects could envision. The integration and contamination of Design, research, business and technological perspectives are the key factors for the development of innovative concepts, scenarios and solutions.
@Work means to consider in the Design process both the aspects connected to the integration of media and tools in a networked environment and to the ubiquitous and distributed dimension of the new working practises.
@Work emphasizes the fact that the characteristics of the work environment both in terms of physical settings, interfaces, interaction modalities and software support are crucial for the definition of a new working-style.
@Work envisions new supporting relation systems, from the creation of company multimedia presentations to the realization of dynamic and customized catalogues for the assistance to suppliers and clients.
@Work means to consider the possibility to manage the qualities and the characteristics of the work environment in a fluid way, adapting its features and shape according to the alternation of the supported activities and to the mutability of user needs.
Potential key issue are: Relational WorkWare (tools and media suppporting social and community practises), Active WorkSpace (physical settings for a dynamic work environment), Services at Work (net based devices as interfaces for advanced services), Working Alliance (brand stretching and strategic partnerships for new working-business).

The project proposes a new model of work social practice. A mediatic interface based on the potentials of Net technologies and new models of interaction. It is a tool able to adapt its functionalities and shapes to the changing needs of the user, able to manage the ubiquitous characteristic of work practices as well as the communicational flows coming from different relations.

Where can we find typical food products, as Tuscan pecorino? You can find them in a street market, my granny would say. But we haven’t got enough time, and we don’t know where to find the right stand. And how much would they cost? Are they also sold in other street markets? But the markets are far away and there is no parking. @gorà will respond to all these questions, and will provide you with the opportunity of ordering via Web, with indication of prices and of where you can buy things you are interested in. @gorà can also get to your house to deliver things. You want to go to the market, but you don’t know where it has moved? Look at the information charts you will find in the main streets of your city.
