The Sound of Turkish Walk Semra Demirel Turkey semrademirel@usa.net I wanted to create a new form of shoe, and I started with an analysis of the history of footwear in Turkey, from traditional to present-day models. I have therefore mixed the old colours and shapes with new fashion trends, focusing my attention on the tulip-shaped sole, the pointed vamp and the traditional materials. |
