Registration
Participation is restricted to a fixed number of students who are selected
on the basis of the qualifications and material they are required to send
in as part of their applications. Applications must be presented no later
than 30 November.
By this date the applicant must send Domus Academy the completed registration
form, a letter of application explaining why he/she wants to attend the course
as well as his/her curriculum vitae, original school certificates and portfolio
of projects. The portfolio must give a clear presentation of working and academic
experiences through slides or photos or drawings of the projects with relative
descriptions.

Tuition fee and way of payment
The tuition fee is of 18.000,00 Euro+ IVA 20% to be paid as follows:
€ 3.000,00 as booking deposit by one month from the date of admision.
€ 15.000,00 as balance within the beginning of the academic year.
The candidate can contact the Director of the Master Course for the assignments
of scholarships possibly available.
Course schedule
The course is spread over a one year period, from January to December, with
a break in the month of August. It consists of two semesters, the first
from January to July and the second from September to December. The second
semester closes with the dissertation of the Masters projects and
the exhibition. Classes are in session from Monday through Friday, 9:30
AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Attendance is compulsory. Simultaneous translation into English is available
during the first months of the course. Foreign students can participate
in an Italian course administered at the school premises during hours that
do not interfere with the Master Course schedule.
Assessment criteria
Each student will be assessed on the basis of his/her attendance at
school and participation in the lessons as well as his/her work in design
seminars and the Masters project.
Masters projects
At the conclusion of the course, each student will take the Masters
course exam which consists of illustrating his/her Masters project
before a committee composed of the course director, the project leader,
the faculty professors and external members appointed by the school and
the University of Wales.
Qualifications
Students who have successfully completed the Master program are awarded
the Master Diploma validated by the University of Wales.
Students who have not passed the Master course exam are given
a Post-graduate Diploma validated by the University of Wales.
Scholarships and certificates of attendance
Information about scholarships and certificates of attendance are provided
by Domus Academy upon request.
Accomodation
During the first weeks the students usually stay in one of the Milanese
residences included in a list provided by the school together with the admission
papers.
In the meantime a member of Domus Acacdemy staff will be available to help
the students looking for an apartment to rent.
